Beyond the Schematic – The System as a Musical Instrument
"Sound is not merely electricity flowing through a circuit; it is a physical and temporal event that fills and defines space. In twenty-five years of laboratory work, I have learned that each of my creations is actually a musical instrument in its own right: a system of production and reproduction that serves as an interface between man and the universe. It is a vibration that must 'caress' the nerve cells and interact with the body, even before reaching the ear.
Throughout my journey, I have met extraordinary technicians and builders, high-level experts for whom I hold the utmost respect. However, field experience has taught me a different truth: the human being, with all their wonderful asymmetries, is not a photocopy made to the measure of a supreme and immutable knowledge. I am not a Guru, nor do I seek the Absolute Truth; I seek balance.
Building on this solid experience, I use diverse materials and never deny the possibility of exploring alternatives, rejecting any industrial dogmatism in my quest to create real sonic sensations. Only this constant research, guided by rigorous technical criteria, allows for the creation of an immersive and coherent soundstage. I have learned to test my systems by observing the biological response: if a living being rests peacefully during listening, I have scientific confirmation that the system is not adding artificial tension or phase distortion, and that the sonic message flows in harmony with the laws of space.
Being a guitarist has taught me that the touch of every hand is unique. My systems are born to respect that diversity, offering the possibility of an introspective journey that allows one to feel at peace. Because sound is a physical fact that must be calibrated for each individual: the perfect system does not exist, only the perfect harmony between the instrument and the soul of the one experiencing it."
