The philosophy of our Atelier does not stop at the iron and vacuum of thermionic valves: it extends to the very source of the AC signal—the instrument itself. To fully comprehend, calibrate, and push the biological interaction and transient responsiveness of the Azzenanù 22 and Diablo Eye to their absolute limits, the author has personally designed and handcrafted two unique One-Off experimental luthier platforms on his own workbench.

These instruments have nothing in common with mass-production formulas or the simple assembly of pre-made parts. They are genuine acoustic testbeds, combining calculated tonewood blends and proprietary electronics engineered to keep total playing dynamics completely intact.

Bench Creations

• Hybrid Super-Tele (Ref. 1): Handcrafted by Andy Roman, featuring a Sapele Mahogany body, Oak top, Set-in Maple neck, and 24-fret Ebony fingerboard. Equipped with Floyd Rose, Seymour Duncan, and Gibson pickups with custom switching.

• Light-Weight LP (Ref. 2): Handcrafted by Andy Roman, combining a slim Mahogany body with a Flame Maple top, Mahogany neck, and Schaller Hot Stuff pickups.
